MEET UP WITH A COUPLE OF OLD FRIENDS

After a long time not being able to get out much I was able to meet up with an old school mate for a cuppa. My wife dropped me off in Epping town a little early and as I was making my way round the town, I bumped into another old mate Craig we ended up chatting and having a cuppa in the end whilst waiting for Tony.

Pretty good timing, when I finished my tea we saw Tony parking up opposite but he didn’t walk over just waved over signaling to us to go over to Harley’s. Both of us thought that was odd of him so Craig said I’ll come over with you to say hello to the unsociable git 😁.

When we entered Harley’s totally understood why he had signaled to us to come over, especially as he was actually running a little late. There I saw sitting next to Tony was Nettie, an old school friend, who I haven’t seen for a very long time and Tony did it to surprise me.

Craig said his hello’s and goodbyes and we started chatting talking about old times, the present, catching up and about other old friends and memories. Was a great afternoon and looking forward to more in the future.

A Big Thank You to you both for having time to see me and have a cuppa. Was also nice to bump into Craig as well.
